Born and raised in New Orleans, LA, Dreux Antoine grew up around great food and great music. His family owned and operated several popular restaurants in New Orleans including Howard's Eatery, Chez Helene, Cafe Brazil, Cafe Yata Java and Half Shell on the Bayou. Dreux Antoine is cousin to world renowned culinary artist Chef Austin Leslie. Dreux Antoine grew up in the historical French Quarters where his calling and passion for music and culinary quickly developed. He is a graduate of Richland College in Dallas, TX, with a degree in music performance and business.
In 2007 and 2012, Dreux Antoine released his first demo/sampler project entitled "A Sinner's Plea" and hit single "A Better Day" which garnered him much success on the indie music circuit. His love ballard "For Your Love" was featured on many radio stations both nationally and globally. Dreux Antoine has sung background for artist such as Chaka Khan, Yolanda Adams, Bebe & Cece Winans, Kelly Price, Karen Clark Sheard and many others. In 2016, Dreux Antoine partnered with music mogul Mathew Knowles and later signed a distribution deal with Music World Entertainment & Universal Music Group under his Jitow Entertainment Group label. Dreux Antoine works closely with music mogul Mathew Knowles and Music World Entertainment based in Houston, TX as co-executive producer of the Music Superstar Talent Search presented by Mathew Knowles.
Dreux Antoine is a notable cookbook author and the founder & president of Dreux Antoine Restaurant Group & Dreux Antoine Co which includes Soulful Chef Company, Jitow Entertainment Group, Houston Café Inc & The Flaming Skillet.
